The proverbs that you will be viewing are contained in a book written by noted Guyanese educator, literateur and politician, Eusi Kwayana.Mr. Kwayana, as part of his life-long quest to preserve authentic Guyanese cultural icons, has written a booklet called Gang Gang*, in which he offers the reader a selection of thirty African Guyanese proverbs in their creolese format, with standard english "translations", and with explanations.
